Ramon de los Santos on Philippine Orchids

Ramon de los Santos is best known in the USA as an AOS award photographer. His photos have been widely enjoyed in the AOS calendars, ‘Orchids’ magazine and the California Sierra Nevada webpage. But Ramon is also known for his association with the Philippine Orchid Society where he was secretary for several years. 

This month we will discuss orchids from the Philippines, mostly because one day I was going through my collection and realized how many were from the Philippines... Phals are from the Philippines, Dendrochilums are from the Philippines, Dendrobiums are from the Philippines, Paphs are from the Philippines...

I mean really. What an under appreciated place. Ramon will discuss the microclimates of the Philippines and how it effects our orchids.
