Next Meeting: Friday February 9^th 6:30 Plant Auction

Our annual orchid auction will take place Friday, February 9th, preview at 6:30 and the auction starts at 7:15. We will be at our normal meeting place at the Contra Costa Water District, 1331 Concord Avenue, Concord.

The plant auctions are always a lot of fun. We're fortunate to have Dennis Olivas running the auction again this year. Last year the quality of the plants was excellent and we sold 130+ plants in about 90 minutes.

Frank Fordyce

January Meeting
Our speaker for the January meeting was Frank Fordyce. Frank's presentations on Cattleyas are always entertaining and informative. Now if only we can find the time to look after our plants the way we're supposed to!

The show and tell table was of a very high standard as usual. Click on the plants above for the DVOS awards and those along the bottom for some of the others I liked.
