DVOS Orchid Sale

A SUCCESS STORY...

We want to thank all the donors and the efforts of time and energy to our volunteers...and last...but certainly not least...the BUYERS who made the DIABLO VIEW ORCHID SOCIETY SALE such an overwhelming success!

The event was held at Fordyce Orchids at the Orchid ranch on June 25. It was charged with the excitement of "buying frenzy" as folks filled up box after box of the 225 plants donated for sale. There were prizes, raffles, great food, potting and mounting demos...and overall was the cha-ching of the 2 cash registers spitting out sales receipts. Our gross total so far has reached $2,845. and is still climbing as a few plants are left over and being sold at Fordyces. Everyone did a terrific job! We especially want to thank our PLANT DONORS: Michael Strayer, Sybil Renee McGowan, Linda Daraskavich, Patsy Van Ranson, Juan Bofill, Davie & Alice Tomassini, Bill Morse, Judith Bugna, Nancy Pak, Kathy Barrett, Dick emory, H & R Orchids, Tropical Orchid Farm, Bleitz - Wailea Orchids, R.
